Fall whispered in my ear today,
a seductive murmur
beckoning my soul.
Sandalwood breath caressed my cheek
a quiver of longing
shivering down my spine.
Delicate fingers caught at mine,
a tracing of secrets
hiding in the dark.
Fall whispered in my ear today,
a remembered lover
dancing in moonlight.
