Microfiction Monday # 72

Peony sighed. I’ve longed for a real piggy bank, but all I get is this ugly shoe. It isn’t even Jimmy Choo, and not worth saving pennies in!

Love the name Peony. Can't wait for them to bloom in the garden.
This Fairy needs to spread some fairy dust on her new bank.
Very creative
(I'm having a bit of a problem with leaving comments today)
Hope this works>

Perhaps that should be Jimmy Ah-choo?

Somehow I ended up on your other blog and was entranced reading about the apples! Who knew?

Now I hope that everyone who follows my comment will go read it to learn something very cool!

I like that. Poor little Peony.

Ah, but if she continues, I see Jimmy Choos in her future!

Poor, dejected Peony...I do hope she takes Peggy's advice and brings out the fairy dust!

I have to tell you that I love your description of your partner as having "a heart too big to measure"...I daresay the thinks the same about you...:)

Oops...typo...should be "I daresay she thinks...".

Don't you hate when that happens??

At least the shoe will be easier to empty should she ever need cash in a hurry....

Poor Peony! I hope her shoe fills up in a hurry!

Well, this is a unique take. I hope she is able to save a goodly sum. You have an interesting avatar. What is it?

To Judy--it's a hedgehog.

She must be hard up if this shoe is her bank! Creative...

I agree. If forced to use that ol' shoe as my bank, I'd spend it on a trip to Belize instead.

Funny!

Have a great week, Ashling.
