Thought For the Day

In and out. Up and down. Over and over. She wove the strands of her life together. Patching hole after hole. Eventually she saw it was much more than the threads that gave her strength, it was in the very act of weaving itself, that she became strong.

I have found you through Linda of Bohemia and I love this simple summary of what I've done with my life of late..yes! it is precisely not the amount of holes we fix because we live either in a swiss cheese formatted world falling through holes, or one of lace if we're weavers, and it is not the amount of holes we patch up, as my entire life of late is intentionally patching, fixing, repairing, upgrading etc, as I recover from a patriarchal matrix, it is the fact that I'm weaving, up, down, in, out, around, a dance weaving my womanly light through this life keeping it together, like a fine filigree lace. Awesome! thanks to you and Linda. PS: I LOVE WHAT YOU WROTE ABOUT YOUR SONS, AND HOW THEY FEEL IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO IMPROVE THIS WORLD....GREAT MEN FEEL THAT WAY! You did good! blessings from the lady of the woods.

I love this...and it actually sounds like something my friend Terri writes from Bone Sighs...I'm wondering if it is one of hers? I'll have to go have a look-see.

It is beautiful and something we all do, isn't it?

Blessings to You Ashling...
